Road to launch

Aniimo launches globally on 16 September 2026 on PC and consoles, with mobile following on 23 September. The testing phase is over: three closed betas have run (a PC test in 2025, "Paws Up" CB2 in early 2026 and the worldwide Global Closed Beta that ended on 25 July 2026). This is the running timeline; every dated update on our news feed slots into one of these milestones.

    First Closed Beta (CB1)

    Revealed at the Xbox Games Showcase; a PC-only closed beta ran in early July 2025.

    Second Closed Beta: "Paws Up" (CB2)

    PC and iOS test with new regions, the Egg Heist mode and expanded Homeland.

  3. Jul 9 – Jul 25 2026

    Global Closed Beta Test (CBT3)

    A worldwide, data-wipe beta on PC (Steam included), iOS and Android across three regional shards. The Bond Pact event let each tester seal one Aniimo to reclaim at launch.

  4. 16 September 2026

    Global Launch (PC + consoles)

    Free-to-play release at 10:00 UTC+8 on PC (Steam, Epic), PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Dated at gamescom Opening Night Live on 26 August 2026.
