Aniimo Server Status: Launch Day, Queues and Where to Check

Aniimo opens to more than 30 million pre-registered players at 10:00 UTC+8 on September 16, on three servers named Aniimo-America, Aniimo-Europe and Aniimo-Apac. Here is the exact launch moment where you live, what the server split means for your account, and the official channels that actually report an outage.

We do not run a live server probe, and this page will never pretend to. What it does instead is tell you exactly when the servers are supposed to open, which official channels report a real outage, and how to tell a queue apart from a problem. On launch day that is the difference between waiting calmly and reinstalling a 40 GB game for nothing.

When the servers actually open

Aniimo goes live at 10:00 (UTC+8) on 16 September 2026 on PC and consoles, with mobile following on 23 September. That is one global moment, not a regional rollout: the pre-download notice gives the three servers the same instant.

Your timezoneServers open
UTC+8 (official reference)10:00, Wednesday 16 September
JST (UTC+9)11:00, Wednesday 16 September
AEST (UTC+10)12:00, Wednesday 16 September
UTC02:00, Wednesday 16 September
BST (UK, UTC+1)03:00, Wednesday 16 September
CEST (Central Europe, UTC+2)04:00, Wednesday 16 September
EDT (US East, UTC-4)22:00, Tuesday 15 September
PDT (US West, UTC-7)19:00, Tuesday 15 September

If you cannot log in before that moment, nothing is broken. The Americas in particular get the launch on the evening of Tuesday 15 September, before the date everyone quotes, and Europe gets it in the small hours of Wednesday: that gap is the single most common source of “is it down?” confusion.

Pre-download has been open since 14 September at 10:00 (UTC+8) on PC, PS5 and Xbox, so the game can be installed ahead of time. Our download guide has the steps.

The three launch servers

Launch runs on three regional servers, named in the official notice:

ServerOpens
Aniimo-America22:00 (UTC-4), Tuesday 15 September
Aniimo-Europe02:00 (UTC+0), Wednesday 16 September
Aniimo-Apac10:00 (UTC+8), Wednesday 16 September

The beta used the labels AP, NA and EU; launch uses these names. Two rules from the same notice matter from the first login:

  • Servers do not share progress. Data on different servers is independent. Within one server, progress is fully shared across PC, console and mobile once your accounts are linked to the same Aniimo Pass.
  • On PS5, the server comes from your PSN region. It is assigned automatically, with no cross-server progress, so check it matches the server of any character you already have on another platform.

In practice, an incident is likely to hit one server and not the others, so a friend playing fine on another server does not mean your client is at fault.

Where to check, in order

  1. The official news centre is where maintenance and outage notices are published, in full and per server. It is the only source that is authoritative.
  2. The official Discord and @Aniimo_EN carry the fastest short updates when something breaks mid-day.
  3. Your platform store or launcher tells you whether the problem is Aniimo or the platform. A PlayStation Network or Steam issue looks identical to a game outage from inside the game.
  4. Third-party “is it down” trackers measure whether other people are complaining. That is a crowd signal, not a status feed, and it is routinely wrong in the first hour of any launch.
  5. Official support answers by email at support_en@aniimo.com, the address given in the pre-download notice.

Queue, outage or you

A few things worth separating on launch day:

  • A queue is not an outage. More than 30 million people pre-registered. A login queue at 10:00 UTC+8 is the expected outcome of that number, not a failure.
  • An error at the exact launch minute is usually capacity, and usually clears. Give it time before troubleshooting your own machine.
  • A problem only you have is worth checking locally: platform status, your connection, and a client repair (launcher Settings, then Quick Repair). Aniimo asks for a broadband connection and 40 GB free on PC, so a full disk or a failed download can look like a server refusal.
  • Crashing rather than locked out? On some 13th and 14th-gen Intel desktop CPUs the studio has published a dedicated fix: see our system requirements guide.
  • Stuck in the world rather than locked out? That is a different fix. During the beta the studio documented ESC then Unstuck to teleport to the nearest valid spot, and ESC then Support to file the issue directly.

What we will and will not publish

We publish maintenance windows and outage notices once an official source states them, with the source attached, the same way we handle every other fact on this site. We will not publish a guessed status, a scraped uptime number, or a “servers are back” claim we cannot point at. If this page says nothing about today, it means no official notice exists yet.

FAQ

  • Is Aniimo down right now? Check the official news centre first. We do not maintain a live feed.
  • Why can I not log in before the launch time? Because the servers open at 10:00 UTC+8 on 16 September, which is the evening of Tuesday 15 September in the Americas and 03:00 (UK) or 04:00 (Central Europe) on Wednesday 16 September.
  • Is there a queue at launch? Expect one. More than 30 million players pre-registered.
  • Are there separate servers per region? Yes: Aniimo-America, Aniimo-Europe and Aniimo-Apac, all opening at the same instant. Progress is not shared between them.
  • Can I play with friends on another server? The notice only states that data on different servers is independent. Pick the same server as the people you want to play with.
  • When does mobile come online? 23 September 2026, a week after PC and consoles, on the same servers as your PC or console account.
